The 2018 Asian Evaluation Week will be held from 10-14 September 2018 in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, Peoples’ Republic of China.
The 2018 AEW Secretariat will send invitations to government agencies and international organizations asking for nomination of participants to the 2018 AEW. Self-funded participants without invitations are also welcome to attend and can contact the Secretariat to apply for participation.
No conference fee will be charged by the organizers, while participants shall manage to cover their own expenses of travel, accommodation and meals, etc. The organizers will fund part of the participants (by invitation only) to attend the 2018 AEW.
Yes, participants who have registered as the AEW website users can update/revise their registration information before the deadline (to be announced soon).
Participants are responsible for applying their visas to China by themselves if needed. Please check with the nearest P.R. China Embassy or Consulate about all the necessary requirements for visa application to the P.R. China, as soon as possible.
Participants who need visa and have completed the on-line registration to the 2018 AEW will be receiving a formal invitation letter for visa purpose from AFDI. The invitation letter can be used as a supporting document for obtaining an entry visa to the P.R. China (if required). Participants are responsible for preparing all other requirements. If you encounter any difficulty in obtaining a P.R. China Visa, please contact the Secretariat immediately.
